Re: ATTRACTION

yes attraction is a complex thing ~ not necessarily the same for all people... but a good clue is to look to the sign on the descendant for the 'flavor' that one is looking for in a partnersome people are attracted to those who have in their charts what they may lack (elements/hemisphere focus),other are attracted to those who *resonate* in similar ways, some (like me!) enjoy a good challenge & the sparks of oppositionin general, the sign that Mars is in will describe what 'turns him/her on'Venus will describe the style that he/she is naturally attracted tothe Moon describes the most natural way that emotions are expressed (which is often tied to the person's experience with the female figures in their life and/or "mother" whatever that means to the person)the Sun indicates a person's main focus(& that can be tied to the experience with male role models father figures guiding principles & ideal self-expression)the different Lilith forms (Black Moon. Dark Moon & asteroid) have been connected with especially magnetic tempestuous & often difficult "fatal attractions" steamy love affairs & fascinating flirtations& a few of the other asteroids like Juno. Eros & Psyche describe specific aspects of lust love attraction etc then if all of that isn't enough information, planets conjunct in synastry between two people are likely to indicate something sharedlove all-ways (there are SO many ways!),mem
what do "lilth forms" mean? and where would i find that on my chart? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~all the Liliths that I currently use are available on (but I'm becoming aware that there are more & some of the forms are still rather confusing so I hope you are not expecting an 'easy answer' on this!).... here's what I got so far (comments suggestions intuitive guesses & links much appreciated!):Black Moon Lilith (the one most people talk about) ~ sign of a crescent moon over a cross ~ the empty focus of the moon's elliptical orbit around the earth -------> called just "Lilith" in the box of additional objects on the extended chart selection highlight the wordAsteroid Lilith ~ will say "Lilit" on your astro com chart ---------> asteroid #1181 you must enter that number in the additional asteroids or hypothetical planets box on the extended chart selection pageDark Moon Lilith ~ will say "Walde" on chart ~ the hypothetical second moon of earth ~ also called Waldemath Dark Moon------> enter h58 in the additional asteroids etc boxhere's what I'm still working on:Fixed star Agol ~ also called Lilith ---------> check the box for "add some fixed stars" on the extended chart selection page & I believe that it will add Agol along with others to the outer rim of the chartinterpolated Lunar Apogee (Lilith) ~ also called Natural Apogee ~ written as "intp" on chart (correct me if I'm wrong) ~ the farthest point from the earth in the moon's orbit ------> listed on the hypothetical planets etc page there is a link to it on the extended chart selection page h21h13. Osculating Lunar Apogee ("True" Lilith / Black Moon) ~ I think this is an alternate calculation for Black Moon Lilith (which is not on object but a mathematical point so like the Moon's nodes can be calculated a few ways) & if I am correct on this should always fall just within a few degrees of the crescent moon over a cross symbol on the chart listed as "osc"I hope this helps ~ it sums up just about two years of my un-tangling of all these forms but in no way am I implying that this is my "final answer"!love all-ways,mem
To see what kind of person you are attracted to in your own chart. I would look at 7th house from the Ascendant and the Moon the lords of these signs as well as the planet Venus. The 7th house is the house of your partner while Venus is the planet of sex and relationships. There is a special harmonic chart in Vedic astrology called the navamsa that we look at for relationships. Jupiter is the planet of the husband so for people looking for a husband Jupiter is important too. Venus is important for everyone regardless of gender or preference. The Sun comes into play when comparing two charts. You want to look for compatibility between one person's Sun sign and the other person's Moon sign. That's why 7th from the Moon is important but also the same sign as your Moon too. DR
I say Mars in a woman's chart shows what she finds most attractive in a man. What she finds sexy actually. I have my Mars in Gemini one of the brainiest signs and I never liked "macho" types. For me the greatest turn-on is a man who controls himself and his instincts. The types that hide their sexuality.(Gemini is known for its androgynous streak) When I was a kid I had a huge crush on Boy George. Nobody told me it was unusual for a guy to wear make-up so I kept saying he looks pretty to me."giggles"I also like a good sense of humor. Jim Carrey will always be in my top 10 sexiest men in the world."giggles" Then there's the Descendant. That shows which sign completes u best. This works equally well for both men and women.
ugh.. dunno about those. Forgot where my psyche is. My eros is in Capricorn if I remember right and my Juno's in Leo. Dunno much about eros and psyche. Actually. I remember reading on cafeastrology that eros shows the way u love not the type of partner u attract. And according to the bobmarksastrologer site. Juno shows the type of partner u attract whether u like it or not. "giggles"I've never liked any Leos.
Actually it does matter when Sun and Moon are in square that's a very difficult aspect. Especially when the man's Sun is square the woman's Moon. The opposition is equally challenging but it has a bigger chance of survival than the square because the attraction is very strong and both parties are willing to compromise and accept each other's differences. The sextile is a very easy aspect. Its shows there's an opportunity for a relationship to blossom but it might not show an actual attraction. The trine and conjunction especially between a Man's Sun and a woman's Moon are very harmonious aspects in a relationship.
I think that for me --who no one in this forum cares about :)-- I am like how Kissinger said that the US doesn't have allies but has.. interests.. in how I approach this topic... :) That's an astrology joke ok? :)I mean look at my planets:Sun/Moon: Gemini/AriesVenus/Mars: Gemini/TaurusI have no planets in the "Others" house. House 7 which is in Aries. My Uranus is in Scorpio (House 2 for those keeping track at home) which from what I can tell suggests I'm a freak or approach things.. interestingly.... :)So from all this I guess I like fit strong intelligent women who I meet for really intense and weird "conversations" that don't matter.
Or mars in 11th... I have Virgo Mars at end of 10th so alot of sights interpet mars in 11th.. This is said there too.. Yes a lover for me IS a friend first. While I'm very excited about any new found sexual connection. I can see myself having alot of energy will drive, ect (mars) to have the feeling of real friendship. My Best long term friends were my lovers at one time also. I have a will also to stay freinds.. Well lotsa Cancer too sooo.... Also might this show an atraction to.. how do I say... The feeling like they are so diferent than anyone else you've ever connected to. As though that diference is a major point of your attraction??"She's so unlike anyone I've ever met"
Yeah aren't Aries and Libra opposite eachother in the chart? I mean. 1st and 7th houses? I have 7th Cap which confers I'm attracted to those who've "ascended" or have some sort of social standing/maturity to them. Mars is in Aries sexually I'm all about that Ram nature. Venus is in Aries too but I'm not so into loving Aries' love nature tho I am more of a Libra lover and my moon is in Libra. Which is just confusing... so I guess one can't really tell attraction to a T by planet placement. [ADVERTHERE]Related article:
